The Buell Firebolt is the Harley-Davidson Buell line's attempt at combining track and street ability and credibility to its entry level bikes. Designer Erik Buell calls this bike a 'sport fighter'. It has to be scrappy to be as unconventional as it is.

Whatever people think of the Firebolt they have to agree it's sleek, pretty, and feisty. As always Buell's unconventional way of thinking designed the chassis like a fine painting.

It has a fuel-injected 45-degree Milwaukee V-twin to power it along. It is a little light in the padding making a long term trip a bit uncomfortable but it has the power to get you there fast.

In fifth gear it gets up to 14500 rpm and you can get up to 150 miles between drinks. While it won't be able to keep up with the hot rockets on the road its 78 horses galloping from its 984cc enigne will provide a nice blast of fresh air and fun on the open road.

This bike works best for a light to average rider in the 140-170 pound range as heavier riders put too much weight on the rear making it drag like a plow horse. Put this on your list for a great ride for a low price.
