The Ducati Sports Classic is a modern day step back to the classic sport bikes Ducati produced in the 70s. The look and feel of this powerful little bike is a sophisticated fast racer.There are several models of the Ducati Sports Classic with the common clip on bars, but there is also the GT1000 is built with upright handlebars so you do not have to be bent in race position while driving down the open road. This is the model that is built for comfort as well as speed.
The GT1000 also comes with true twin shock absorbers so that the hard ride of the racing models is reduced greatly. Its 6 speed transmission and 992 cc engine give it all the power you'd expect from a Ducati Sport bike.
The rest of the Sport Classic line all has the familiar bent form seating and
high energy appeal. The Sport 1000 Monoposto, and the Sport 1000S differ slightly
in seating with the GT 1000, and Sport 1000S offering two up and the Monoposto
being a single-seat machine.
The GT 1000 and the Sport 1000S also have dual shocks giving them a smoother
ride than the Monoposto. The Monoposto also has a much lower handlebar making
for a true racing styled street bike.

Advantages: Offers seating positions for whichever style a rider prefers, and Ducati performance as well as retro design.
Disadvantages: Aside from the occasional complaint of a hard ride none could be found. This is a truly enjoyable sports bike for the dedicated enthusiast.
