As a powerful bike with excellent handling ability it did it and it did it with style. Its whopping price tag is a deterrent for some but for those that can afford it, it's worth the price.

One of the most appealing aspects from an aesthetic standpoint is the remarkable beauty of the 1098 but the way it is designed makes it difficult to get at when working on it.

With everything taken into account - it's a true superbike for the 21st century.
