The BMW F650GS is one of the most popular enduro (dual-purpose) bikes with a single cylinder. It is for riders who want to ride on the road and who get aggressive off road. This enduro can handle it all, including gravel tracks, long, sweeping curves and winding alleys. The 2005 model has a lot of upgrades including a new two-spark ignition system, a new windscreen, a three-position clutch lever and better on-board electronics.

The liquid-cooled, single cylinder engine is a four-stroke with 39.70 (652 ccm) cubic inches. It puts out 50 horse power (36.5 kW) at 6500 rpm and 45.7 foot pounds (62.00 Nm) of torque at 5500 rpm. A five-speed transmission with a wet, multi-disc clutch transfers power to a chain drive and finally to the ground.

The front suspension uses a 41 mm telescopic fork and the rear is a swingarm. The front and rear brakes use a single disc, but it provides plenty of stopping power for this 386-pound (dry weight) bike, using an 11.8-inch disc in the front and a 9.4-inch disc in the rear.

The BMW F650GS has a seat height of 30.7 inches, and if the seat is adjustable, this is the lowest setting. The fuel tank holds 4.57 gallons (17.30 liters), and gives the rider plenty of time to enjoy before having to stop and fill up again. It comes in red non-metallic, night black and iceberg silver metallic.
