The Harley Davidson Fat Boy is cruising bike with strong performance. It is a bike geared for cruising the town and bar hopping, but a single rider would be comfortable on a long distance tour. The seat is a two piece, leather seat with a height of 25.4 inches. The rear seat is detachable. The bike does not come with bags, but bags can be added.

The air-cooled, fuel injected Twin Cam 96B engine is a two-cylinder engine with two valves per cylinder (intake and exhaust). It puts out 89 foot pounds of torque at 3,300 rpm and gets about 35 miles to the gallon in the city. Highway mileage is considerably better at 54 miles per gallon. It is backed by a six-speed transmission and the torque transfers to the rear wheel via a belt drive.

The front brakes provide stopping power with a 4-piston caliper and an 11 ½-inch rotor. The rear brakes help out with a 2-piston caliper and an 11 ½-inch rotor. Harley still has not changed its suspension, giving this cruiser telescopic forks for the front and a twin-sided swing arm for the rear suspension. The two rear shocks are adjustable.

It has a dry weight of 694 pounds and carries five gallons of gas – enough to get you where you want to go without having to worry about refueling for a couple hundred miles.
