The Honda CB1000 steps up to the plate and delivers a helluva swing. With a massive 993cc 4-stroke engine this bad boy has power to burn. It will dive into twisties and pop off the line like a gazelle.

It's true the CB1000 isn't as fast as they come but it has plenty of power and fun packaged into a very reliable bike that is comfortable to ride. The Honda CB1000 proves you don't have to be in pain to be cool or strapped to a gas can to be fast.

You don't have to be in pain, or glued to the top of a gas tank but you do have to be big. This is a huge bike, not so much in height as in weight, at 520 pounds it's a real big bad boy. At 8500 rpm it delivers an impressive 98 horses that will gallop all the way to the finish line.

There can be some confusion with this bike as there are modern CB1000's (RR) but the originals from the late 60's and 70's are true classics that have a wide audience of admirers.
