Be prepared to burn rubber right from the start.The Honda CR480 has tons of power and torque even at the very bottom end. From its gut it will pull out 60 charging horses and keep adding them all the way up to the mid-range.
It tops out a bit there and doesn't leave a lot for the upper end but it will still leave you reeling from the juice until then. It is fast, and exciting. It is a superb off road bike for all styles of competition or fun.
The suspension on the CR480 is not the best for jumping. It will send you to the moon without some serious adjustments but it does have the power to pull you through any type of ground conditions. It is a great bike for advanced riders but requires too much skill to control for beginning bikers. This bike's top speed will exceed 130 mph so it obviously has the power to take flight and make you feel the force.
The brakes can be grabby and make for even less stability. At high speeds this bike can shake a bit and have less control. However this is an incredibly reliable and low maintenance dirt bike and will give its owners hours of fun in the mud.
Advantages: Tons of power. A great advanced rider's bike. Low Maintenance.
Disadvantages: Will throw anyone not ready to control such power. Brakes could be better. Suspension needs tweaking.
