Starting with the Goldwing GL1000 in 1982 Honda introduced a newcomer edition to the then already famous Goldwing line. The Goldwing Aspencade was the epitome of luxury in a family line that already included the basic 'bare' style touring bikes and the 'Interstate' edition which was a deluxe model of the line that came with complete baggage and many extras. The Goldwing 1100, 1200, 1500 all had Aspencades as a part of the lineup.

The Interstate already added a massive stereo system, along with a 40 channel CB, and a built in air compressor. The Aspencade took luxury a step higher with extra storage in the backrest of the passenger seat, deluxe paint job, special badges and wider, bigger tires.

As always the Aspencade lived up to its Goldwing heritage at every turn. It is a comfortable cruiser that is awesomely impressive and sure to garner plenty of attention.

For its 20th anniversary of the Goldwing series Honda treated loyal wingers to special edition Aspencades that included gold trim and anniversary badges.
