Available from 1985 to 1987 the Honda Magna VF700C came in black or red. Its color wasn't distinctive at all for a motorcycle but like all Honda sport touring bikes it had a style all its own. Long and lean with a power that will twist your guts this bike is a blast to ride. The Magna VF700C was a unique bike in that it actually took a little bit of a step backwards in power to appease tariffs at the time. Later models punched it back up again.However, regardless of the wheres and whys the Magna VF700C is still a fun bike to ride and makes a great addition to any collector's garage. Because they were created for a reason and then stopped they can often be found at a better price than the bikes even just before them. Any beginner looking for a very sporty bike that still has power but will be less likely to toss them on the pavement the Magna VF700C is a great choice. Get out and ride, and experience the wind in a truly personal way.
Advantages: Good vintage bike for collectors. Very good looking. Runs reliably with little maintenance.
Disadvantages: A little less power than earlier models and models that followed directly after. Not enough punch for more advanced riders although it still produces a respectable amount of power. Can be difficult to obtain replacement parts for.
