The Honda Super Hawk is a sporty fast bike for the road racing enthusiast. It has less track appeal than some of Honda's super bikes but it delivers high speed power and great control for highway running. A torquey engine revs up a lot of power while the six speed transmission remains smooth and effortless.

The Super Hawk almost glides through all its gears with powerful grace. It isn't choppy or hard to ride and almost makes all that speed feel motionless. Beware of radar traps on this baby because you won't know how fast you are going until it is too late. It has a sharp and clear response and is a great bike for every rider to enjoy.

It leans in and out of twists easily and its semi-aggressive positioning keep the rider in place for smooth turning that keeps the Super Hawk's wheels glued to the ground. While it is a more down and over the tank bike than the big cruisers the Super Hawk's seating is still mild enough to be ergonomic and comfortable for long distance riding.

She tops out at about 140 mph but if you need to go faster you're better off with a license from NASA than the Secretary of State, and you won't find a more comfortable 140 than the Super Hawk. Better yet it gets about 38 miles to the gallon so you can ride all day even in the present gas challenged economy.
