The MV Agusta F4 looks and feels fast – and is fast. It is one of the fastest sportbikes on the market, and has been tested out to a top speed of over 193 miles per hour. This bike is definitely not for the weak of heart. In 2007, MV added a tinted windscreen and the 1078 motor. This bike is more for the rider who is interested in racing, though it is not allowed in Superstock or Superbike racing.

The four-cylinder, large bore, 45.7 cubic-inch engine has a double overhead cam and 16 valves. It put sout 93.4 Kw at 13,100 rpm (at the crank) and the torque is rated at 7.9 Kgm at 10,500 rpm. It is liquid cooled, and also has an oil cooler. This power is fed by Weber Marelli 1.6M multiport fuel injection and backed up by a six-speed transmission.

The front suspension uses a 50mm, upside down, telescopic, adjustable Marzocchi fork with a 4.65-inch travel. The rear suspension is a Type Progressive single shock that is fully adjustable. It has rebound-compression damping and a spring preload. It incorporates a single-sided swing arm made form aluminum alloy and has a travel of 4.72 inches. The front brake uses a double steel floating disc, which is 12.2 inches in diameter and a two six-piston calipers. The rar brakes use an 8.27 inch disc with a four-piston caliper.

The MV Agusta F4 has a seat height of 31.7 inches and a ground clearance dof 5.32 inches, giving it plenty of room to lean into curves. It weighs in at only 408 pounds dry. The fuel tank holds 4.16 British gallons.
