The Yamaha TTR90 is the perfect bike for the beginning dirt rider. It is more powerful than its younger cousin the TT90 for the bolder, more adventurous new rider but still has the small size for little riders. Getting your kids to go out and play will never be easier than when they have this exciting big boy toy to play with. The 89cc air cooled engine provides a ton of fun without being too over powered for young riders to handle. An automatic clutch provides an easy way for young riders to get accustomed to shifting the 3-speed transmission and a CDI ignition makes it easy to start right up every time.The upkeep on this bike is very minimal and it is rugged enough to take the bumps your kids will throw at it as they learn the skills that will make them competent riders. It has a washable foam air filter that further reduces costs and the initial cost is low so that almost anyone can afford to get their kids dirty.
A monocross single spring loaded rear shock suspension gives it a smooth ride over untamed trails and the 24.6 inch (625mm) seat is easy for the smallest of riders to be comfortable on and control the bike.
